The T-Mobile 5G network utilizes 600 MHz spectrum
Mere days later expanding its own 5G network to seven new markets, T-Mobile has declared that an extra 10 new markets into the list of places with its next-gen coverage.
T-Mobile’s 5G coverage utilizes 600 MHz spectrum and is compatible with all the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Notice 10+ 5G and OnePlus 7T Guru 5G McLaren.
2 expansions happening so tightly together perhaps demonstrates that T-Mobile is actually ramping up 5G installation.
And they are not the only one.
Even though AT&T’s 5G network isn’t quite as far-reaching as T-Mobile’s, its own mmWave 5G Plus support is currently readily available to users using a Galaxy S20 Plus or Galaxy S20 Ultra. The 5G Plus support is presently available in 35 markets. Verizon currently has 34 cities–also a range of stadiums and arenas–together with 5G coverage under its belt. Further, U.S. Cell started launching its 5G network in parts of Wisconsin and Iowa on March 6, using current deployments such as Racine, WI and Carroll, IA.
